Implementing Local Energy Markets: Landau Microgrid Project (LAMP) starts in October 2017

  • The IISM starts the Landau Microgrid Project (LAMP) together with its cooperation partners, the local utility Energy Südwest AG and the energy technology company LO3 Energy. LAMP connects 20 residential households in the area of Lazarettgarten in Landau and lets them trade locally produced renewable energy among themselves. This pilot and research project is a based on the Brooklyn Microgrid and a one of a kind implementation of a local energy market in Germany.
