Non-addictive Information Systems

Non-addictive Information Systems
Type:Bachelorthesis, Masterthesis

Simon Kloker

Every day, there is a study somewhere in the news about how badly too much smartphone, too much accessibility, too many social networks, too many computer games and too much information systems are for us. And yet nothing changes. Why? Because someone's interested. Manufacturers of online games even explicitly hire psychologists to do addiction research just to make their players even more dependent. Non-addictive information systems want exactly the opposite: to support people without making them addicted. Objective of current work is to perform a literature review on current developments in this field of research.
