The main objective of the Productive4.0 project is to achieve improvement of the digitisation of the European industry by electronics and ICT (information and communication technology). The aim is to create a user platform across value chains and industries, that especially promotes the digital networking of manufacturing companies, production machines and products. The platform rests on a holistic system approach consistently focusing on the three main pillars: digital automation, supply chain networks and product lifecycle management, all of which interact and influence each other.
IISM is contributing to this ambitious project together with 109 European partners from industry and the research sector. Hereby, IISM focusses on the working packages Process Virtualisation and Production Control. Particular emphasis is put on the identification of data sources for the description of complex production cycles and the description and modeling of the external demand. The task is studied on the use case of a German semi conductor manufacturer.
