Our energy group won the best paper award 2017 at the 6th D-A-CH+ Conference on Energy Informatics in Lugano, Switzerland (04.10-06.10.17). Lukas Barth (ITI), Nicole Ludwig (IAI), Philipp Staudt (IISM) and Esther Mengelkamp (IISM) develop and implement a comprehensive modelling framework for demand side flexibility in smart grids. This research combines existing models to describe demand side flexibility in a holistic way for (primarily) industrial customers. The best paper award was awarded during the gala dinner overlooking the beautiful Lugano lake.
