IDEENSTARK 2020 is a yearly competition for innovative business concepts in the creative sector that awards ten creative businesses in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

In these challenging times good, innovative and sustainable ideas and business concepts are needed more than ever. With the award IDEENSTARK the Media & Film Society Baden-Württemberg, supported by the Ministery for Science, Research and Art and the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Housing Baden-Württemberg, honors innovators and dissidents for their innovative business models.

Out of roughly 120 applications the judges of IDEENSTARK selected ten creative businesses for further promotion and development over the course of the following year. The laureates come from Fellbach, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Pliezhausen, Stuttgart und Waiblingen. The funding program consists of individual consultations and participation in collaborative workshops. The award ceremony will take place as a digital or hybrid event November 3rd 2020.

The competitiveness and diversity of this year’s award recipients is highlighted by the wide range of areas they represent: design, architecture and interior design, performance arts, music, games and digital research.

We congratulate Greta Hoffmann (IISM, KIT), Raphael Martin (TECO, KIT) and Sabine Scharff for winning one of the ten IDEENSTRAK 2020 awards for their project KUBUN, an Online-Tool to visually and methodically improve digital database-research.
