Our IISM team members, Kim K. Miskiw and Alexander Grote, had the honour of presenting their research in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kim gave a talk on the topic "Multi Power Market Bidding: Stochastic Programming and Reinforcement Learning" (available here), while Alex presented his work on "The Positive Impact of Metric Learning on Open Set Nearest Neighbour Classification" (available here). Both PhD students received valuable feedback and enjoyed the fruitful discussions.
