Research Focus

My research focuses on the field of neuroscience and economic decision making: Several research studies examine what can affect the economic behavior of human beings (i.e., emotions, biases). Thanks to neuroimaging and psychophysiological methods I am interested to investigate decision making processes with a special focus on the economic behaviors. My current PhD project involve an interactive group of people which participate in a fantasy stock market, and with the help of Functional Magnetic Resonance and Physiological sensors (i.e., EDA) I try to shed light on possible variable that can influence the behavioral outcome, keeping attention on the possible brain activations. Generally, I am interested in the fields of cognitive and applied neuroscience, experimental psychology and decision making.

I would be happy to welcome students who are interested in my project, either how thesis students, junior researcher or as research assistants (HiWi).

Please feel free to send me an e-mail for any questions.
