Short CV

Clemens van Dinther has been working on energy systems, business model transformation, innovation, and data analytics for over 20 years. With a background as a Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics, and holding a Doctorate and Habilitation from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), his research has focused on market mechanisms in Smart Grids, machine learning applications in business processes, and Smart Grid economics and management. He is a member of the think tank "Internet of Energy" of the Federal German Industry (BDI) and currently serves as Senior Advisor at 3DSE Management Consultants, specializing in innovation and efficiency improvements in organizations, with a focus on R&D. He has over 15 years of management experience in industry and academia as Managing Director, CEO, Advisory Board Member, and Dean of Research. He has also been involved in numerous national and international research projects. As a Privatdozent at KIT he remains affiliated with the Institute and KIT.
