Research Focus

My research work focusses on hybrid adaptive systems – with a goal of creating research frameworks to design adaptive digital systems suited for the hybrid combination of work & life balance in the post-pandemic remote work contexts that organizations are increasingly moving towards. Particularly, I will focus on aspects of team collobration, and what fosters team performance in remote contexts. I am also a proponent of Open Science & Open Data research methodologies, with the goal of making the as many aspects of the research process accessible to the public as possible, from idea generation to opinion collection, to making the results publicly accessible. I am also interested in understanding and helping verifying standards for establishing trust in data and exploring the potential of Open Data frameworks for industrial uses.

Projects:

Brownie

A NeuroIS tool for conducting economic experiments was developed with several researchers at KIT, and used by several groups to conduct both NeuroIS & Web experiments in Economic decision-making contexts as well as Information System design & usage. It was published under the "Path-breaking & interdisciplinary” track of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (link).

Take Part
A mixed-reality platform aimed at improving civic participation in construction projects

The project was published & demonstrated in several public forums, demonstrating the possibility of involvement of public in shaping as well as including them as stakeholders in shaping participatory systems.
